In the frame of the preparation for the "Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2023" competitions to be held in Baku, the next training for marshals specialized in fire protection and rescue was held on March 25, 2023 at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in order to increase the skills and experience of the marshals of the Baku Marshal Club under the Baku City Circuit Operations Company.
The purpose of the training organized by the Main Operations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is to check the reality of operational and interaction plans related to emergencies that may occur during the competitions, to further increase the professionalism of the marshals for the prevention of fires and the agile elimination of their consequences.
In the theoretical part of the training, specially qualified training and educational staff of the Academy made presentations to the participants of the event in order to instill knowledge about emergency situations, including fire safety, prevention of such incidents and to strengthen their skills in order to organize rescue operations.
In the practical part, the rules of behavior with special techniques and equipment used in emergency incidents, including fire safety and rescue work, were clearly explained.
Trainings started on March 11 of the current year is being held for the 3rd time. In total, about 200 marshals are expected to participate in these trainings, consisting of theoretical and practical parts.
It should be noted that the next "Formula-1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2023" will be held in the capital Baku on April 28-30 of this year. 1471 marshals are expected to participate in the competition.
