The Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted a technical inspection of small capacity vessels
The State Service for Control over Small Capacity Vessels and rescue in Water Basins of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continues control measures in accordance with the schedule of technical inspection of small capacity vessels for 2023.
Thus, on March 16, 2023, the Service conducted a technical inspection of small capacity vessels on the sea coast in the area of Mirgurbanli, Sahiloba and Shirvanli villages of Neftchala district. During the inspection, the technical documents of the vessels, their technical requirements and standards for carrying cargo and passengers, the power and number of engines, the sailing area, the minimum height of the freeboard, the height of the waves at which the ship can sail, the provision of rescue and firefighting equipment, navigation and other equipment were checked.
It should be noted that in total of 125 boat owners in the area have applied for a technical inspection. As a result of the technical review, the owners of the vessels vehicles (boats) that meet the norms and requirements were presented with a technical ticket allowing them to sail, and the operation of the boats that did not meet the requirements was prohibited and an act was drawn up on unfitness for operation.
Currently, the evaluation of the technical condition of small-capacity vessels is being continued by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
