Brief information about the coverage area 
The North Regional Center is located in the nortern region of the Azerbaijan Republic, 5 administrative districts are included, 3 of them - Siyazan, Shabran & Khachmaz located on the Caspian Sea shore.  

Area - 6960 km²
Population - 489 280. 

The area occupied by the North Regional Center is located in a seismically active zone & has areas risky with landslides & flooding. Explosions and fires, destructions of buildings and facilities, transport and other accidents inherent to other cities of the Republic are also common in areas covered by the North RC.
