The flooding of some areas due to the recent heavy rains in the country caused certain difficulties for the movement of people as well as the cars.
In this regard, the relevant forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were involved in the works to drain water from flooded areas based on calls received by the “112” hotline of the Ministry.
Thus, the relevant forces of the State Fire Protection Service and Special Risky Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergence Situations carried out the removal of water from the flooded areas, as well as the evacuation of the people having difficulty leaving the area in Nasimi, Yasamal, Khatai, Binagadi, Sabunchu, Surakhani, Nizami and Qaradagh districts, Baku. Besides, in Khachmaz district, the relevant forces of State Fire Protection Service, Civil Defence Troops, Special Risky Rescue Service and North Regional Centre of MES were also involved in the similar actions.
Currently the work is underway in some areas.
