Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov meets US ambassador Earle Litzenberger

On September 19, 2019 minister of emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamaladdin Heydarov met the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America Earle Litzenberger.

Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov congratulated Earle Litzenberger on his appointment as the ambassador to Azerbaijan and wished him success during his tenure. Minister informed the guest about the measures taken for prevention of emergencies and liquidation of their consequences in Azerbaijan and the activity directions of the ministry, too. He stressed the great importance of broadening the collaboration between Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations and the corresponding agencies of the US for emergency management.

Ambassador, expressing his appreciation for the warm meeting, underlined that the broadening and development of collaboration ties between the two corresponding bodies of the countries for emergency management is useful for the both parties.

The sides exchanged views on other mutually interesting issues.

Then the ambassador was in the Crisis Management room of the ministry and viewed its activity.
