MES held an awards presentation ceremony on the results of the Ninth National Children's Art Competition "Emergency situations through the eyes of children"

 

On 26 December 2019, an exhibition and awards presentation ceremony on the results of the Ninth National Children's Art Competition "Emergency situations through the eyes of children" organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Education with support of the Trade Union of Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situation was held at the Academy of the MES.
The aims of the competition are attracting the public attention to emergency problems, imparting safe life habits and culture to schoolchildren, bringing them up in the spirit of patriotism, revealing of talented children and supporting them.

 

Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Lieutenant General of Medical Service Faig Taghi-zade, Deputy Minister of Education Idris Isayev, Deputy Minister of Yuoth and Sports Ismayil Ismayilov, head of the Division of Education of the UNICEF Azerbaijan Leyla Hasanova, heads of the appropriate structure of the MES and member of society and mass media and parents participated in the event.

Participants of the event visited the stands, got acquainted with the work of children. At the exhibition handicrafts of the schoolchildren took part in the 9th National Children's Art Contest - "Emergency situations through the eyes of children" were demonstrated. The competition where schoolchildren from all the cities and districts of the republic participated in, was started on September 26, 2019.  345 drawing, 211 posters, 127 hand-made items, 81 models, 67 soft toys and 63 poems were presented to the Organizing Committee on the results of town and city competitions. Works submitted to the competition were evaluated by a Jury consisting of representatives of the MES, Ministry of Education, Union of Artists, Union of Composers, Union of the Writers and the Academy of Arts. 31 contesters won the first place of the pedestal, 37 were second and 47 of the participants were third. 52 people were awarded consolation prizes.

After the exhibition was viewed the winners of the competition were announced and they were awarded with certificates of honor and valuable gifts.

The awards were presented by Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Faig Taghi-zade, Deputy Minister of Education Idris Isayev, head of the Division of Education of the UNICEF Azerbaijan Leyla Hasanova, head of the Trade Union of Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situation Mehman Ismayilov and other persons.
