On February 15, 2018 next expert meeting of the Joint Commission on Economy, Trade and Technology between the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the government of the State of Qatar was held in Baku with the participation of the delegations of both governments.

The state of implementation of the Protocol on the results of the first meeting of the Commission held in Baku in 2017, the status of bilateral relations in the economic, trade and technical spheres were discussed and it was noted that there are great opportunities for the development of these relations. At the meeting an exchange of views between the representatives of the respective structures of both countries on the priorities for future cooperation was also held and the organizational issues of the next meeting of the commission were discussed.
