Minister Kemaleddin Heydarov meets with new Qatari Ambassador

Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov of the Republic of Azerbaijan met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Azerbaijan Yusif bin Hasan Yusif al-Sai on October 26.

Minister Heydarov congratulated Yusif bin Hasan Yusif al-Sai on his appointment as Qatar’s new ambassador to Azerbaijan, wishing him success in his diplomatic activities aimed at further developing friendly relations between the two countries.

The minister hailed the high level of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Qatar and expressed confidence that the Joint Economic, Trade and Technical Commission between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the State of Qatar will make huge contributions to the strengthening of bilateral relations.

Heydarov extended his deepest condolences to the ambassador over the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad al-Thani, former Emir of Qatar.

The ambassador, in turn, praised the high level of cooperation between the two countries, noting that he will spare no efforts to contribute to further development of relations between the two countries as well as between Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations and Qatar’s relevant bodies.
