To the attention of the candidates of the MES Academy

Cadets’ acceptance for the 2015/2016 academic year for the full-time education at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been started.

Cadets’ to be accepted to the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations should be citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, minimum 170 cm tall, secondary educated or be in a graduate year class with the age more than 16 (cadets to apply for the "Emergency situations and life safety engineering" faculty should reach 17 up to 01.09.2015), or demobilized from the army, reserved and not reached 23 year old age up to 15.09.2015.
Applicants should pass special medical examination of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as the physical preparation and selection committees’ tests in accordance with the rules adopted by the Ministry.
The list of applicants who successfully passed the relevant examinations and testing will be sent to the State Student Admission Commission to participate in the contest.
The entrance exam is held on the first specialty group subjects.
Test instructions can be found on the website of the State Student Admission Commission and in the media announcements. Food, uniform, hostel and scholarship are to be provided for the Academy cadets.
The education lasts 4 years and is in the Azerbaijani language.
Academy graduates get bachelor's degree on "Fire safety Engineering" and "Emergency situations and life safety engineering" specialties. In addition, military or special ranks are awarded to the cadets and they are assigned to the corresponding positions in the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
After electronic application through the internet to the State Students Admission Commission the following documents must be submitted in person:
– Biography;
– Notarized copies of ID card and birth certificate;     
– Original documents and notarized copies of the military ticket and military conscription card;
– Reference from the secondary school and or work or military unit;
–Original and a notarized copy of the secondary education receipt or reference on the last year study;
– Proof of residence;
–Dispensary certificates on the place of residence and other medical documents in order to submit to the special medical examination commission;
– 4 6x4 cm size color photographs (taken on a white background in a dark suit).
Documents will be accepted from 1 April to 30, 2015 (except weekends) from 10:00 to 17:00 at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (address: Baku, Hovsan settlement, Elman Gasymov Street). Details on submission of applications and tests will be provided on the official website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (www.fhn.gov.az).
