Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamaladdin Heydarov met with the Industry, Mines and Trade Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh

On 27 November 2014, Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamaladdin Heydarov met with a delegation led by the Industry, Mines  and Trade Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh.

Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov said that the talks held between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rohani as part of their mutual official visits and the documents signed on cooperation in various fields laid the foundation of a new stage in the development of bilateral relations. Minister noted that the discussions on expanding cooperation on safety in the fields of industrial and mining activities held during the visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to Iran earlier, in March this year have also been quite helpful.

Iran's Industry, Mines and Trade Minister Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome, further said that there are prospects for a wide range of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of mining between the ministries of the two countries.

The two sides exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
