As a result of incessant rains in the southern region of the country in recent days water filled into some yards and houses in several settling points of Lankaran and Masally districts. The traffic bridge connecting a portion of a Vilvan village of Lankaran district and crossing over the Veravul River collapsed as a result of heavy rains.

Due to the measures taken, the relevant assistance was provided to 38 people who faced problems in the village of Girdani of Lankaran district to struggle out of their homes as a result of floodings overfilled their yard areas.

Currently, the relevant authorities are involved in the necessary measures in the both districts for outflowing/pumping the water from the yard areas out.
