Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov has met with Japanese Ambassador Tsuquo Takahashi

On January 19, Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan Republic Kamaladdin Heydarov met with Tsuquo Takahashi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan.

Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov talked about the work done in the field of emergency prevention and elimination of consequences pointing out the potential for extensive cooperation with relevant agencies of Japan which have rich experience in this area.

Ambassador Tsuquo Takahashi stressed the importance of mutual visits for further development of relations of his country's appropriate authorities with the Ministry of Emergency Situations and praised the active participation of the Ministry’s delegation in the UN’s third World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction held in March last year in the city of Sendai in Japan.

The sides exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
