MES South Regional Center holds conference

On June 25, 2019, MES South Regional Center held a conference on the theme “Improving people’s preparedness for emergency situations” at the assembly hall of Yardimli region executive authority.

The conference was attended by the authorized representatives of the MES Administration, South Regional Center, South Regional State Fire Control Department, Yardimli region State Fire Protection Unit, Yardimli region executive authority, local self-governing and executive bodies.

Making a keynote speech at the event, head of South Regional Center, major Musaddig Asadov gave detailed information about the current state of mutual activity with Yardimli region executive authority, existing relations, the work done and upcoming tasks.

Then, first deputy head of Yardimli region executive authority -chief of Emergency Situation Commission Azar Khamiyev underlined the importance of joint activity in minimizing losses and damage while preventing emergency situations and eliminating their consequences, said there was mutual activity with MES South Regional Center.

Discussions were held on the work done in the region to prevent emergency situations, existing problems, upcoming tasks, proposals were made, recommendations were given to the relevant bodies.
