MES State Fire Control Service holds awareness-raising event

On April 29, 2019 State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations jointly with Baku Regional Center held an awareness-raising event at secondary school No 21 named after E. Mammadov in Yasamal district. 

It was stressed that the area must be kept clean, provided with primary fire extinguishers according to normative documents, evacuation plans in case of fire and booklets on fire safety rules must be prepared for every classroom and hanged in proper places, it is inadmissible to install additional rooms on the staircases, water supply (water pipelines, water pools, tanks and hydrants) for extinguishing fire must be taken with care.

Video clips on the topics "Observe fire safety rules", "Carbon monoxide hazard", "Fire safety in household", "112” hotline and “Rules of using fire extinguishers” were screened at the event. 

Rules of using primary fire extinguishers were demonstrated, leaflets, booklets on the themes "To the notice of citizens", "Rules of behavior in case of fire" were distributed among the participants during the event.
