MES Sumgayit Regional Center holds seminar-conference

Sumgayit Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a seminar-conference on the theme "Increasing of preparedness for emergency situations in the focus of attention" at Sumgayit State Technical College under Sumgayit State University on March 28, 2019.

The event aimed at improving knowledge of teachers and students on the rules of behavior in case of emergency situations and civil defense, taking prophylactic measures to prevent fire or explosion accidents at schools.

The event was attended by the employees of Sumgayit Regional Center, Sumgayit Regional State Fire Control Department, Sumgayit city State Fire Protection Department, teachers and pupils of the college.

Speeches were delivered on the themes "Classification of emergency situations", "Rules of of behavior in case of quake", "Rules of behavior in case of landslide", "Rules of behavior in case of fire in household", "Use of fire extinguishers", "Carbon monoxide", "Beach safety rules","112 hotline", "Preparedness of the youth for emergency situations, their role in preventing emergency situations and eliminating their consequences", video clips were screened on the topics.

Questions were answered, booklets and leaflets distributed among the participants at the end of the event.
